Goatwhore, Goatwhore, and More Goatwhore!!!!!!

Louisiana based blackened death troupe Goatwhore are seemingly popping up everywhere. They are on the cover of the newest issue of Decibel, one of the last remaining US metal magazines that actually still write about metal, good metal, they have just announced a co-headling tour that is going to obliterate audiences all over the US, and they have also released a new song off their upcoming album Blood for the Master. So far 2012 is starting out to be the year of the Goatwhore, and this writer could not be more happy to see this happen.

Goatwhore are co-headlining a full US tour with Hate Eternal with support coming from Fallujah and Cerebral Bore. I have seen both Goatwhore and Hate Eternal on seperate occasions and they were both some of the best live bands I have ever seen. Goatwhore had some of the most enthusiasm that I have ever witnessed at a show and Hate Eternal played so flawlessly that it seemed like their albums were playing over the loud speakers. This is surely going to be one of the biggest can't miss shows of this new year.

Here is the lyric video for the song "Collapse in Eternal Worth", the first song to be released from the band's 5th full length album coming out in February. The band isn't really straying from the path they have been forging for the past 14 years (have they really been around that long?!?!) but that is not a bad thing because their blackened death metal pleases most people. Bottom line, Goatwhore fvcking rules!
